The CEDERNA-GARALUR strategy encompasses five general objectives:

• To develop innovative projects that promote development in the Navarre Mountain Area
• To create quality employment
• To bring New Technologies closer to the Territory
• To develop the Navarre Mountain Area as a Tourist Destination
• To improve Communications throughout the Territory

To achieve these objectives, the following services are offered:

I Rural Innovation
CEDERNA-GARALUR proposes, provides support and disseminates information on innovative public and private projects and initiatives directed at discovering new channels to resolve the problems and challenges faced by the Mountain Area, making the most of the opportunities and resources available in the area.

II Companies and Entrepreneurs
CEDERNA-GARALUR brings services closer to companies and supports the creation of new business initiatives in order to diversify and strengthen the economic fabric of the Navarre Mountain Area.

III New technologies
CEDERNA-GARALUR supports the use of new technologies to bring high-quality services closer to the area’s inhabitants, improve business management and generate new opportunities.

IV Human Resources
CEDERNA-GARALUR aims to match employment supply and demand in the Navarre Mountain area, by offering guidance, consultancy services, training itineraries, selection processes and employment revitalisation.

V Tourism
CEDERNA-GARALUR is collaborating with tourism promoters in order to boost tourism in the area, by making sustainable use of the area’s exceptional resources in order to generate wealth and employment and make the Navarre Mountain Area a tourist destination of quality.

VI Information and Communication
CEDERNA-GARALUR understands that communication is necessary in order to give publicity to the organisation and promote the efforts made by its members to further the development of the Navarre Mountain Area. For this reason, CEDERNA-GARALUR actively participates in the European Community, and is part of the European Commission Europe Direct Network directed at providing information on community institutional policies as well as ensuring that the community institutions are aware of the reality of our territory.
